“AWAKE” SURGERY FOR BREATHING DISORDERS

The evolution in the field of otorhinolaryngologic surgery requires continuous improvement not only in the acquisition of surgical skills but also in the knowledge of more effective and increasingly less invasive techniques and technologies. In recent years, there has been an exponential increase in the incidence of chronic respiratory diseases of the upper airways, often necessitating surgical treatment. Patients desire "tailored" and less invasive surgeries to quickly resume their daily activities. Additionally, there is a need to reduce waiting lists, hospitalization times, and costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Therefore, it is increasingly necessary to stay updated on the continuously evolving, more effective, and minimally invasive techniques and technologies. This theoretical-practical course aims to present and discuss the state-of-the-art management of chronic respiratory diseases of the upper airways, with particular attention to technical and minimally invasive surgical innovations within a multidisciplinary management framework.

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS:

The course will be broadcast via the Zoom platform.

Once registered, to access the Webinar you will need to enter your credentials on the platform https://ecm.unicampus.it/, go to "My Panel" at the top right, and on the "Home" screen, the courses you have registered for will automatically appear. Select the relevant course and, using the drop-down menu, proceed with "Training Module." Access to Zoom will automatically open, and at the end of the two days, you will be able to download the certificate of participation.
